La scelta di creare opere impermanenti permette di dare una maggiore longevità al materiale, che può essere utilizzato in forme diverse per creare nuove opere. Nel caso del legno, ogni esposizione si conclude con un grande evento finale in cui l'opera viene demolita direttamente dal pubblico o mediante un effetto domino. Con le sue opere l'artista vuole riflettere sul naturale deperimento della bellezza e la necessità di intraprende azioni concrete per la sua conservazione, creando un parallelismo con i beni architettonici, la natura e le relazioni umane. Le installazioni prendono vita anche grazie alla collaborazione con aziende sensibili ai temi della sostenibilità, come Kapla, che realizza i suoi celebri mattoncini in legno di pino marittimo proveniente da foreste francesi gestite in modo responsabile, e Salvatori, che trasforma scarti di lavorazione del marmo in preziosi elementi artistici. |
